Inishowen 2nds 41 3 U.U.C. 2nds
November 21st 2009
Inishowen produced a fine display of forward power combined with no little amount of skill to win this one comfortably.
It was the desired response to an early season drubbing at the hands of the Coleraine Students that was demanded. Despite some early mistakes leading to the visitores opening the scoring on 5min Inishowen dominated in every area of the field.
The pack gave their back line a platform to attack by winning ball against the head & stealing line outs from early on.
In total seven tries were ran in. The first coming from captain old-head McCrossan while the last came from rookie Nathan Noone.
In between the damage wasw done by Colm Sweeney, Chris Jones, James McColgan, Neil Atherton & Greg Byron.
More of the same is needed in the run up to the McCambley cup match in two weeks.
Everyone is expected to make a bigger effort at training in preparation for this game.
